White Lake vs. Pink Lake

Salt Lakes are quite common in the Wimmera region of Victoria, Australia. Normally they consist of white salt such as White Lake near Douglas, but there is also the very unique looking Pink Lake near Dimboola. The pink colour comes from a pigment secreted by microscopic algae.  Mother Nature provides stark contrasts sometimes!
