Melbourne street artist Adnate is well-known for his stunning, colourful and lifelike images, especially of Indigenous Australians. Recently I have come across three pieces of his photorealistic work in very different locations and settings.
The first was the impressive (and massive!) Sheep Hills Silo Art leg of the Wimmera-Mallee Silo Art Trail, the second was a rich image of a youth that was placed high up on a brick wall above Hosier Lane in Melbourne, Victoria and the third was of a profile of a youth I spotted just this week on Leigh Street in Adelaide, South Australia. He is one talented artist!
