At 11am on November 11th, 1918 the guns finally fell silent. The armistice to end The Great War, World War One, came into effect. 1918 to 2018, 100 years later, Lest We Forget.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Today in glorious Spring sunshine I attended a moving Centenary of Armistice service near the small country Victorian town of Kingston, which was also commemorating the Kingston Avenue of Honour Centenary. Veterans and the Creswick Light Horse Troop participated in a commemorative parade along the beautiful tree lined avenue.

Photo of pendleburys was in Horsham RSL century of service exhibition 4th to 9th. NOVEMBER VERY SUCESSFULL .
