The Beautiful Rochester Silo Art & Murals

One of the newest silo art locations in Victoria, Australia was completed in Rochester, north of Bendigo during July 2018 and what a beauty it is! The colourful detail by artist Jimmy DVate of a Squirrel Glider and Azure Kingfisher on the Campaspe River is fantastic! I headed up that way with my Granny a few days after it was officially completed and already many people were stopping by to check it out.

Also don’t miss the annual Rochester Mural Festival competition entries nearby on the main road heading into town. They are always worth a look and previous years winners are kept on display too. The 2018 theme was: “Nature, her beauty and bounty”.
